Our Mission
The Foundation for the Augmentation of African Americans in Film (FAAAF) is dedicated to uplifting Black and BIPOC filmmakers, expanding access to creative opportunities, and ensuring that diverse voices are seen, heard, and celebrated in film and media. Through film festivals, educational programs, and community partnerships, we nurture emerging creators, honor established talent, and build pathways that empower the next generation of storytellers.
Our Vision
We envision a vibrant creative ecosystem where Black and BIPOC filmmakers have the resources, platforms, and support needed to thrive. FAAAF works to strengthen the cultural landscape by investing in youth, developing new talent, and showcasing stories that reflect the richness and complexity of our communities.
